I have a griffin tamed and just need to unlock the saddle so I'm not worrying about wyverns now. I watched a few youtube videos about wyvern taming and they all either got them stuck on terrain or in one case had someone standing on the back of someone's vrock while it was being flown, firing hooks at it. Lol this is actually damned funny and I'm gonna try it even if I'm not seriously attempting to tame it that way. as long as you don't press LMB again you'll hold onto it like a grapple and you can just ride it out until it lands again.īy far the simplest way to tame any flyer the arrows have a max distance and that is from the point you were standing the moment the arrows hit it's target. this way you don't need any of the hassling tips above.
